Autumn Chores Sold

Summer has given way to autumn. The fishing boat is hauled onto the land for the winter and the children are getting the vegetables from the garden for the evening meal, with the family dog helping.

The red clay is much richer in the light of the sun going down on the horizon and the huge maple blazes over the top of the house. The leaves haven't fallen yet but that is coming: signs that winter is just around the corner.
