The Climbing Tree SOLD
This old tree has seen many seasons. It has weathered storms, children climbing and swinging on it, and diseases which make the burls (the clumps of wood) which will eventually be given to an artisan to make beautiful bowls and sculptures for our homes. The actual tree was one which I spied in Cardigan, PEI in 2001. It might be so-called disfigured but it is beautiful.
